Bizzity (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates bizzity.com and the Bizzity platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. If you have questions, email hello@bizzity.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Name, work email, company, and the calculator inputs you submit when requesting a proposal cost breakdown. Anything you type into our contact form. Booking details when you schedule a discovery call.
- Information collected automatically. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp). Aggregate page view metrics (which pages, how long, scroll depth) — only if you consent to analytics cookies.
- Cookies. A small
bizzity_cccookie stores your consent choices for 12 months. Necessary cookies are always on; analytics and marketing cookies only run with your explicit consent.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiries and deliver requested reports
- To set up and operate your Bizzity account if you become a customer
- To send transactional emails (proposal audit reports, account notices)
- To improve the product — only with consented analytics. We don't sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.
Third-party services
We use a small number of vendors to operate the site and product. Each processes only the data necessary to perform the service:
- Cloudflare — hosting and DNS (US/global edge)
- Resend — transactional email delivery (US)
- Cal.com — booking widget for discovery calls
- Plausible or Google Analytics — privacy-respecting page analytics, only loaded with consent
- Bizzity internal systems (CRM, lead capture). Your data stays inside the Bizzity environment.
How long we keep it
Calculator submissions and contact form messages are retained for 18 months unless you become a paying customer (in which case they're kept for the life of the account plus 7 years for tax and audit purposes). You can request earlier deletion by emailing hello@bizzity.com.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Send you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data (right to erasure / right to be forgotten)
- Stop using your data for marketing
- Export your data in a portable format (right to data portability)
Email hello@bizzity.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Cookies and tracking
The cookie banner you see on first visit lets you accept or reject
analytics and marketing cookies. Necessary cookies (consent storage,
session) always run because the site can't function without them.
You can change your choices anytime by visiting any page and reopening
the consent banner from the footer link or by clearing your bizzity_cc cookie.
Children
Bizzity is a B2B tool. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, secure cookies, and standard hardening on our hosting (Cloudflare WAF, rate limiting on our endpoints). No system is perfectly secure — if something goes wrong we'll notify affected users promptly and post details at bizzity.com/security.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and adjust the "Last updated" date at the top. For material changes that affect how we use existing data, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
